Tales of Unest (1898) is the fist collection of shot stoies by Joseph Conad published in his lifetime.Joseph Conad (1857–1924), a Polish-bon English novelist, was a mastein the fomats of long shot stoy and novella, a fom of stoy longethan conventional shot stoy but shotethan a novel. Some of Conad's most acclaimed woks have been witten in these fomats, most notably Heat of Dakness (1899).Tales of Unest contains five stoies; Kaain: A Memoy (witten 1897;ead by Jhiu), The Idiots (1896;ead by Ann Boulais), An Outpost of Pogess (1896;ead by Kistine Bekee), Theetun (1897;ead byaeity) and The Lagoon (1896;ead by David Lazaus).
